e-bikes changed EVERYTHING!

3 years ago we invested in e-bikes, then without warning...BAHM!! Our lives literally changed! We ride every weekend, unless the wind is blowing 40 miles per hour or it's snowing. We are looking so forward to our RV adventures or should I say our e-bike adventures. So many trails across the county...so little time!

Our first bikes were purchased at our local sporting goods store (Scheels). TREK Townie Cruisers (black & teal). They were the perfect introduction to the e-bike world for us. 3 speed peddle assist, flat foot technology with a battery range of approximately 30 miles. There isn't a bike path or trail we haven't been on in Bismarck or Mandan.

A stroke of luck (bad luck for Jack & Janet Lewis), good luck for Scott and I. Jack and Janet purchased their own e-bikes and an unfortunate turn of events had to sell them...to us!! So, we planned a trip to Colorado for an RV show and picked up the bikes on our way home. The Velotric bikes were a step up for us giving us not only the peddle assist, but in a pinch we could use "full-throtle." Velotric bikes (yellow & mint) gave us a further range of 40-50 miles on one charge, depending on how much pedal assist we use. This opened the range for us to ride as far as Fort Lincoln State Park. From our place in northeast Bismarck to South west Mandan!! Roughly 40 miles round torp! What a blast!

The mint one is Scott's and if you know me, the yellow one is mine and of course it has a special name...Mike jr.
